Relax and unwind in this quiet peaceful setting! This clean and cozy 2 bedroom apartment is a great spot for your stay in the Columbus area. Our apartment has a large living and dining room that is open, and has lots of great light from the French doors leading to patio and shared yard space. upstairs you will find 2 spacious bedrooms, and a large owner suite with double vanity and large closet. We also have a large 2 car garage for your convenience!
The space
The Gahanna Hideaway is a cozy clean space that is perfect for your stay in the North East part of Columbus. Close to Easton, New Albany, Westerville, the Airport, and only 15 min from downtown Columbus or OSU.
Our spot is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from the main road.
Our house is a duplex house, and we are the right side. However it is a great design, and you wont even know we have neighbors! We have a 2 car garage for your use, and paved driveway. There is a lot of green space in our yard, that we share with our neighbor. Our yard is not fenced in, but responsible pet owners are welcome to use the yard with their pets on leash. Don't miss our back patio!
The main level of the house has a large living room/dinning room that spans the entire back of the house. It has a cozy seating area with a mounted Smart TV and a desk for working. The dinning room has a new table an seating to share a meal together. You will also find a full kitchen stocked with the basics for preparing a great meal, as well as a guest 1/2 bathroom.
Upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms and a large full bathroom. The owner suite has a queen bed with memory foam mattress, mounted Smart TV, and large closet. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with memory foam mattress, and storage dresser. The bathroom has a tub/shower and dual sink vanity.
The basement is clean, and has a washer and dryer for your use while here!
Other things to note
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

We chose this for our winter holiday week base camp because it was just minutes from our relatives down the road. <br/>The hot water was so nice and hot so quick! We made every meal right there in the kitchen and loved being able to stay put. All our errands were reachable within a couple minutes. We were warm and felt safe and watched lots of Netflix and Apple+! The neighborhood felt safe and friendly. I went on a walk and chatted with a nice guy shoveling snow, kept seeing the same mom pushing her baby in a stroller, and one morning saw a lady playing with her cute dog in the backyard behind us. We also spotted an albino squirrel in the yard! We both agreed we would stay there again. Hosts were very hospitable. Allowed for a potential early check-in. Answered all questions in a timely manner. Shopping and food was very near to the home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home. Very comfortable. Rental had lots of space and two tvs and a private driveway and it’s near a plaza so not far from food or anything of needs. Host was very communicative and responsive. Needed a place to stay at the last minute during a complicated cross country move, the rooms were exactly what we needed. Highly recommend if in the area.
