Our home is located less than one mile west of Downtown Columbus. It is nestled in a fenced-in corner lot. Ample parking in back for two cars.
Once inside, our home presents a living room, a large dining room, and kitchen all stocked for your stay. The main level of the home also includes a washer/dryer. Upstairs you will find two good sized bedrooms. Each with a new queen bed and stocked for your stay.

Our neighborhood Franklinton is situated just west of Downtown Columbus, and is full of historic homes. This neighborhood has experienced many phases through out it's existence, and is currently in a revitalization phase. There are lots of properties being renovated, and some that still remain boarded and empty. This area has experienced some crime in the past, but has improved in recent years. Franklinton has experienced several great floods in the past, and has been somewhat neglected throughout the middle to late part of the 1900's. The Franklinton Floodwall, completed in 2004, is 7 miles long, cost $134 million. The wall's completion has released the area from being considered a floodplain, as well as releasing the previous building restrictions that often prevented development in the past. As a result, commercial and industrial activities are starting to grow in the Franklinton Area. The City of Columbus is focusing on creating a new Short North style neighborhood in Franklinton through developing an urban creative district. This new neighborhood is now centered between Gift, Town, Lucas, and Rich Streets. Key developers have purchased existing buildings and are working to refurbish existing buildings to retain the character of Franklinton.

PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

Good place to stay for a weekend, it’s comfortable and clean you have restaurants an bars near the house and the neighborhood is quiet Trevor

This was a decent place to stay. It worked fine for our work trip. The neighbors through the wall were quite loud. You can hear them talking and walking across the older squeaky floors lol. And since it’s on a corner property, the morning cars and traffic would wake us up at 4 am almost every morning. The one shared bathroom is through the bedroom so maybe a little inconvenient if you are traveling for work or want more privacy. Great kitchen with lots of kitchenware for cooking. Good location for close to airport stays. Good communication and good host. The layout and age of home can only be controlled so much.
