Description
The Maynard Manor is a bright, spacious, and exquisite home for your next visit to Columbus. Tucked in the historic Old North Columbus neighborhood, this 5 BR, 2.5 BA is just steps from High St., yet only 5 minutes from the Highway. The perfect spot for families, groups, and business travelers. Our kitchen/dinning room is perfect for a family meal, and our living room is perfect for catching up with old friends. There are 4 BR and 1BA on 2nd floor, with a spacious master suite on the 3rd floor.
The Maynard Manor is fully stocked with lots of great amenities for your trip to Columbus. The kitchen comes equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve a group meal. Our living room has 2 sleeper sofas, and plenty of seating. The Manor has a large fenced in back yard, the garage is not available for guests. 2 bedrooms have a desk and chair available for use.

Old North Columbus is a neighborhood located just north of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1847 where, at the time, it was a stand-alone city out of the confines of Columbus until it was incorporated into the City of Columbus in 1871. In its early years the city was a popular stagecoach stop with people traveling from Worthington to Columbus. Today Old North Columbus is popular for its local music and its unique "untouched architecture" which is reminiscent of its old roots.
Uber and Lyft are great ways to get around in Columbus, and our central location allows you to get to most parts of downtown in under 10 minutes, and most other parts of Columbus in under 20 minutes.
We also are close to a COTA public bus stop. Also available in columbus are a bike share, and scooters!
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

Amenities
So first and foremost, let me explain the four star rating on cleanliness. We paid additional cleaning fee to be able to arrive at 2 o’clock instead of 5 o’clock. The property managers arranged for the cleaning crew to have extra help and be there early. However, the cleaning crew failed to Hold up their end of the bargain and did not show up until 2 o’clock and with only two people just as we were arriving. The cleaning crew even admitted they forgot to check, and the Property Manager was very responsive and agreed to refund part of the cleaning fee for our trouble. So I do not fault the Property Manager for the cleanliness when we arrived.<br/>Other than that, it was a pretty good experience. The only real problem is the AC. It’s a very old house so the first floor is very cold, the second floor is a good bit warmer and the third floor is quite warm. Thank goodness for cool nights. A mini split on the third floor would be a great addition to keep that part of the house cool. Great place for our family of grandparents, parents, grandkids and dog. Comfortable and well equipped. Great back yard and grill . I would have given 5 stars but there was garbage all over the back parking area that we needed to walk through to enter the property. There was also garbage in the back yard. We contacted the owner and were told it would be cleaned the next day but it wasn’t. However, The owner was generally prompt in responding . He was apologetic and offered a discounted price for a future visit and said it wouldn’t happen again. We love the location and the home and likely will go again

parking sucks, but thats downtown columbus for ya.
only qualm i had is they wouldnt hold the place for us till we got paid on our checkout day. we are a work crew and was looking for long term stay and can only pay weekly. big dissapointment they couldnt hold it, but other than that it was a fine experiance. Beautiful place! Will recommend for anyone. Plan on staying next year since we spend every Easter in Ohio. My personal found spot for Easter.
