We stayed for four nights to attend my niece's wedding, and we had a fantastic time at this house. It was our first time visiting Columbus, and I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore German Village, The Brewery District, or downtown. We were walking distance to some great restaurants like Linday's and Cento. (Make your reservations now to make sure you are able to get in). There is a great book store a few blocks away and a great record store less than a mile north. The master suite was very large and had a very nice ensuite bathroom. My son stayed upstairs and had everything he needed there. Although we didn't cook at the house, the kitchen is very clean and well appointed for any kind of cooking. Lastly, we enjoyed the garden where there is plenty of furniture for sitting in the shade and reading. We will definitely stay here the next time we are visiting the Columbus area.

House was clean and provided what we needed for the stay. Location was half/half because it wasn’t in a great area but never had any issues.

Stayed at Benjamin’s place when we were in town for a wedding. Surprisingly convenient spot for us. 3 minutes from Kroger and First Watch. Back in a residential neighborhood, easy to find. Inside was very clean, new appliances and made good use of the gas range. Excellent value and met our needs!

Our stay at the Short North house was great from start to finish. we had no issues while we were there. the place is clean and has a perfect location to shops and restaurants. if the weather was a bit nicer, we would have walked a lot more. I highly recommend staying at this Short North gem!

This apartment has been completely renovated, is clean and bright and has every amenity that you will need for a very comfortable and central stay. This location is adjacent to South OSU campus and walking distance to the Medical Center, as well as walkable to the Short North Arts district. A quick Uber or scooter ride away from the Convention Center, stadiums, and OSU Horseshoe. W/D in unit and a parking space is available in the back.

This rental was exactly as pictured, it was a really great space. It also had a great location! However, when we arrive, we found out there was no air-conditioning. It was 80° as we were trying to get ready for a concert and we were pouring the sweat. I messaged the host, he asked if he could send someone while we were away to fix it. Of course I said yes because it was 80° in the place. Only to come back to a hot place with a message from him asking me to check the breaker. There was no breaker box to be found. He then offered me a partial refund, the which I was unhappy with, because nothing was done to even try to fix it. He then offered me the full refund to which I accepted and agreed that I would still give a good review. When I wake up in the morning, there’s a message stating that I needed to accept a partial refund so I messaged him about it and he never answered me for over 24 hours. He then gave me a partial refund and I had to get the rest from Airbnb customer service. 👎🏽

I had a family member at The James. This place was perfect for us to sleep, relax and stay close to the hospital instead of a lot of long commutes. Would definitely stay again.

Overall a great experience. However, there was no toilet paper on arrival and it took 2 days for them to deliver some. I’d bought my own at that point (which the host reimbursed). Also, the central heating system did not seem to be reaching the set point temperature and one of the bedrooms was much colder than the rest of the apartment. The host did deliver a space heater upon request, which I appreciated. Finally, the back door behind the couch was not locked upon arrival, so someone else could have gotten in if I did not notice it and lock it myself. Aside from those drawbacks, the stay was great. The kitchen was well stocked (although the knives are in desperate need of sharpening) and there was plenty of space to work in the room by the kitchen and relax in the living room. The host was also very responsive.
