Overall a good 9 day stay. Very quiet neighborhood. The A/C worked perfectly downstairs but it did get pretty humid and hot upstairs. Other than that it was a pleasant stay

A lovely home. Every nice for a large group to be in one space together. Very clean and updated. 5min walk to Short North area for great food and entertainment.

Absolutely loved my stay. The apartment was very very clean. Matched the photos exactly, & was perfect. Easily the best BnB I’ve stayed in. Very close to many of the OSU activities which I was in town for. Again, I can’t get over how clean. Loved smelling the freshly washed bedding, & throws.

Great location if you're looking to take advantage of staying near OSU's campus and a really unique experience staying in such a charming and old place in the middle of such a bustling area. We stayed there since we were going to an OSU game and it was perfect being able to walk to and from. The houses surrounding us were having parties but you couldn't tell when inside. My kids loved the many "secret" doors. There's a ton of space, though the beds are as big as they would have been back in the days. As expected with older places, it's a bit dusty and the outlets were minimal, so I wish we would have brought extra adaptors. Outside of that, it was a fun and unique place to stay at!

Very well priced for a great place. Extremely clean with everything that was needed during our stay. He also responded around the clock for any question I had. The front porch was a great feature and the kitchen was fully equipped like your own.

The location was great for a commute to OSU. Off street parking was a huge bonus. Beautiful apartment. Looked just like the photos. I never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. The children's hospital is right down the road. It's close enough to the city but far enough from the noise. Flexible check-in and super friendly host. I would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay! The area was very peaceful and quiet, which made it a really relaxing place to stay. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our stay at White Lake Retreat was wonderful.  Benjamin was a great host communicating quickly with any questions.  The home was represented well in the photos.  Beds were all comfortable and showers all had good pressure.  I really enjoyed the back deck overlooking Lake White.  I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone staying near Waverly.  Overall great place to stay.

Everything was great minus the downed tree in the front yard that made it hard to park 3rd vehicle in front of the house. Other than that the place was great and the staff was amazing responding immediately to any questions we had. Definitely would stay again.

Great place to stay! There’s a nice park right across the street, and it’s only about 4 minutes from High Street. There’s plenty to do on High Street, from great food and bars to sneaker and clothing stores. Great location overall!

This apartment has been completely renovated, is clean and bright and has every amenity that you will need for a very comfortable and central stay. This location is adjacent to South OSU campus and walking distance to the Medical Center, as well as walkable to the Short North Arts district. A quick Uber or scooter ride away from the Convention Center, stadiums, and OSU Horseshoe. W/D in unit and a parking space is available in the back.

The location was exactly as shown in the pictures. It's very walkable to Ohio State. Everything was very clean and well maintained. This would be a great place for visitors to Ohio State. Check in and parking were very easy. The only thing to be aware of is the beds are very firm.

I stayed here with a friend that was visiting Ohio for the first time. It was a great place to stay! It was clean, we felt safe, and it is walking distance to OSU and Short North. Overall would recommend staying here!

This rental was exactly as pictured, it was a really great space. It also had a great location! However, when we arrive, we found out there was no air-conditioning. It was 80° as we were trying to get ready for a concert and we were pouring the sweat. I messaged the host, he asked if he could send someone while we were away to fix it. Of course I said yes because it was 80° in the place. Only to come back to a hot place with a message from him asking me to check the breaker. There was no breaker box to be found. He then offered me a partial refund, the which I was unhappy with, because nothing was done to even try to fix it. He then offered me the full refund to which I accepted and agreed that I would still give a good review. When I wake up in the morning, there’s a message stating that I needed to accept a partial refund so I messaged him about it and he never answered me for over 24 hours. He then gave me a partial refund and I had to get the rest from Airbnb customer service. 👎🏽

I had a family member at The James. This place was perfect for us to sleep, relax and stay close to the hospital instead of a lot of long commutes. Would definitely stay again.
