Noise level prevents any guests from sleeping
This property is a bigger house that they've split into two separate properties. The front of the house is occupied by long-term renters who are college age. The noise of the other tenants AND the night club that backs up to this property equals LOUD noises until 4am on the weekends. The doors separating the property have 3 inch gaps at the bottom of the doors so noise carries easily between them. If you are over the age of 25 and actually want to sleep before 4am, this is not the property for you.
The bedrooms need some changes to make them more private (curtains on glass doors, locks, etc.) and the kitchen needs more pots/pans/utensils. Easy fixes for a newer rental property.
Location is great to walk to lots of restaurants/bars on High St and off-street parking was outstanding. M

Great location for fun not for sleep
Stayed here with 2 other friends for a girls weekend trip. there were some positives and negatives to this property:
Positives:
- Location within Columbus - centrally located, close to downtown, campus, Easton, Airport, Grandview, very short drive to everywhere and only a block from High Street in the Short North
- Plenty of Off Street Parking - room for several cars off street which was amazing to not have to look for parking
Negatives:
- Very strong sewer/mold/mildew smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. It was rough, the property owners need to do something about this.
- Set up of the property makes no sense. This is a house that has been split into two rental properties. One of the bedrooms has a thin bedroom door (think a door with a one inch gap at the bottom) that separates it from the other rental property living room area. The person staying in this bedroom got no sleep. At one point we had to email the property owner to address a party going on at this property which was so loud it sounded like it was going on in the property we were renting (the property owner was responsive). But even just normal activities like normal level talking sounded like it was occurring directly in that room because there is no sound barrier between that bedroom and the adjacent rental.
- The property is only a block off of High Street so you will hear music coming from the bars on high street until 2am. So be mindful when renting if this will bother you.
