Description
The Restful Studio is an efficient private space to rest and unwind while in the Newark area! Our small studio apartment is attached to the back of our main house. It has its own private bathroom with shower, and kitchenette. There is a private entrance, and parking for 1 car in the back.
The space
Our studio has a queen bed, a couch, desk, a Smart TV and seating/dinning area as well. There are a few steps to go up to the kitchenette, and full bathroom. There is a door that separates this apartment from the main house, and that door is always locked from both sides.
Guest access
Guest will have private access to the apartment, and have shared access to the front and back yard area. The parking, and driveway is shared with the tenants in the main house. Thank you!
Other things to note
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

this property is infested with bugs that leave their dropping around every night, there was multiple problems with the property including broken furniture, no storage for luggage, nails sticking out of the floor, unsecured and broken tiles in the bathroom, Lights in the bathroom not working, kitchenette faucet wasnt attached to the sink, the front door didnt seal. After several calls to management and the Air conditioner dying they relocated me to an even worse house in horrible condition almost an hour from my original booking S

Reeked of Marijuana from other tenants who were very loud.
Very drafty and cold with only a window unit heater and a large gap under the door.
Had to park in the front yard to get guaranteed in/out with other tenants
The company charged an unauthorized charge on my credit card after I requested and declined a quote for a possible extension but DID refund the charge immediately and stayed in great communication with me, answering all emails promptly at all hours of the day.
